Vero Beller

Vero was born and raised in Mexico City. She moved to Texas in 1998 where she lived for 6 years, she went back to Mexico for 4 years, and returned to the USA, relocating in Battle Creek where she has lived for the past 14 years.

Since her arrival to Michigan in 2008, Vero has been an active volunteer as an English/Spanish interpreter in the community. In 2010 she started to work as a Bilingual Medical Interpreter, until 2015 when she started to work for the Kalamazoo Public Schools. During the 7 years she has been with KPS, she has worked for the Bilingual and World Language Department, Hillside Middle School, El Sol Elementary, and Student Services / Special Ed Department, where she has been working for the last 3 years.

Her overall mission since her arrival to Michigan has been to give a voice to the Spanish speaking community, helping them voice out their needs, particularly in vulnerable environments.

In 2020 she certified as a Life Coach from The Life Coach School, and has volunteered since then as a Personal Coach in both languages. She believes that by understanding all people better, we are better able to serve and help them achieve their own example of what is possible for them.
