Evelia Bautista

Evelia Bautista is the Outreach Care Coordinator for the Substance Abuse program at Family Health Center. Through this position, she assists in managing the care of over 200 patients who are recovering from opioid and polysubstance abuse. Evelia collaborates with doctors, therapists, community health workers, and social workers to assure these patients receive stigma-free, quality care. Evelia has been a healthcare associate for over ten years, providing patient care and interpreting services to underserved populations.


Evelia holds a bachelor's degree in communication studies with a minor in Nonprofit Leadership and International Studies. She is a proud advocate for the Latino community and migrant farm workers and has a special interest in Education and health disparities within each.


Aside from her job, Evelia enjoys volunteering. Her favorite volunteer opportunities are with local nonprofit organizations that serve children and youth.

If she is nowhere to be found, chances are she may be traveling. She loves that.
